Submit an application

Applicants /representatives are requested to visit the German Visa Application Centre to submit a visa application. A head of the family or any responsible member of the same family is eligible to lodge applications on behalf of all members of the family. However, representative/s will have to carry a written letter of authorisation duly endorsed by the applicant. The authorisation letter should include complete details of the representative's name and any identification number. The authorisation letter will be included in the documentation submitted along with the application.

The authorised representative will be required to prove his/her identity with the identification number mentioned in the letter.
